Julia Kleiner is a visual communication designer from Germany, currently based in Milan with over 20 years of experience.

She works across commercial, institutional and cultural sectors, offering expertise in a wide range of visual communication and branding design. She helps clients define and shape their brand identity with strong and unique brand codes, drawing on her extensive experience to directly improve their business with highly strategic solutions.

She believes in the power of design and its fundamental goals to solve problems, connect and seduce with maximum impact.

Her designs are created by thorough insight, then by applying conceptual, creative and aesthetic research. Everything in her process underscored by a clear and rigorous methodology which leads realization.

After earning a degree in Visual Communication in Germany and completing a master degree in E-design at the Politecnico di Milano, she worked with renowned studios such as Fragile, Michele de Lucchi, Matteo Thun, Oliviero Toscani, and the agency Armando Testa. During this time, she developed visual identities for prestigious clients including Artemide, Banca Intesa, Bénéteau, Mövenpick, Poltrona Frau, De Agostini, and the City of Constance.

In recent years, she contributed to the repositioning and rebranding of Germany’s largest company in the financial consultancy sector, Deutsche Vermögensberatung, allowing her to work with a multidisciplinary team. She has also led various workshops and training sessions to implement the design solutions.

Currently, she manages projects for clients in Italy, Germany, and Switzerland, ranging from start-ups to well-established companies. Her work spans various practices, such as branding and design for traditional media, digital platforms, exhibitions and editorial design. Julia consistently delivers innate value and uniqueness to all forms of visual communication.
